Welcome to the website of The UK Friends of Khwendo Kor – FROK!
FROK is a UK registered charity whose purpose is to support Khwendo Kor, an NGO full of brave and inspirational staff working to improve the situation of women and girls and the communities in which they live in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP, formerly the North West Frontier Province) and the Newly Merged Districts (NMDs) (formerly Federally Administered Tribal Areas).
Khwendo Kor’s vision is of ‘a compassionate society where women and girls live and thrive with dignity and self-reliance’.
FROK is proud to support Khwendo Kor through raising awareness of their cause, providing technical help from time to time and, most importantly, by raising funds. We work closely with KK to identify how best our funds can help them right across their valuable work. As FROK is a wholly volunteer-led charity, our overheads are minimal. Please consider helping by becoming a member, giving us a donation or becoming actively involved with us.
